Albemarle Community Investment Program

Albemarle Community Investment Program 1

ALBEMARLE EMPOWERS COMMUNITIES THROUGH INVESTMENT
Local efforts to create a vibrant and resilient future in the South West could be eligible for a boost with Round One funding of Albemarle’s 2023 Community Investment Program now open.

Not-for-profit and community organisations with projects, events or activities spanning Albemarle’s priority areas of education, the environment and sustainability, or health and culture, are encouraged to apply.

Albemarle Australia Country Manager Beverley East said that Albemarle supported a range of community groups and organisations, including many during construction of the company’s Kemerton Lithium Hydroxide Processing Plant.

Albemarle is now a major South West employer and is planning to expand its community investment strategy. “Our Community Investment Program is actively looking for new opportunities to support communities in the region,” Ms East said. “Albemarle is focusing on being a company that ‘provides all the elements for a better world’ and supporting grassroots groups and initiatives is just one aspect of that. We are also interested in supporting efforts that build community fabric, that protect and build up our health and culture, and that connect us to our environment in meaningful ways.”

To qualify for Albemarle’s Round One grants this year, initiatives must be timed for delivery between July and December. To receive an application form, email your full contact details to [email protected]
Applications will close on Monday, 15 May 2023.
