2025 SW Asset Reliability & Management Forum

2025 Sw Asset Reliability &Amp; Management Forum 1

The Bunbury Geographe Economic Alliance was pleased to host the inaugural SW Asset Reliability and Maintenance (SWARM) Forum at the Mantra Bunbury last week.

Attendees came from a range of backgrounds within the asset management and maintenance areas and represented a number of different industry sectors.

Maintenance and asset management is a major contributor to the regional economy. Not only direct employment but all the supporting suppliers and contractors.

It’s also an area which shares in similar challenges such as cost control, labour availability and the implementation of new technology, particularly automation and digitisation.

The Region can only benefit from sharing information, collaborating on solutions and building stronger connections, which is what SWARM is all about.

We thank our 4 guest speakers who shared some great innovations being implemented within their businesses:

Dalton Cody (Bunge) & Gerard Sharp (Ultra-Tek Pty Ltd) who presented on best practice Machine Lubrication Technology
Paul Oosthuizen (Southern Seawater Joint Venture) presented on their groundbreaking Digital Twin and BI Trial
Marty Stafford (Southern Ports) who presented on their award-winning Implementation of a New Asset Management System

We look forward to the next event later in the year.
