Presented by LAVAN and Co-Hosted by Jack in the Box
Free workshop for businesses in Bunbury and Busselton
Almost every business holds information about its customers, clients and suppliers. Under the Australian privacy legislation, businesses are responsible for protecting this information. Lorraine Madden and Andrew Sutton of Lavan will be presenting free workshops in Bunbury and Busselton on October 16 and 17 where the topics of privacy, data breach and cyber-attacks will be discussed.
Lorraine and Andrew will provide advice on issues relating to privacy, how to ensure, as far as possible, that all relevant legislation is complied with, and what to do in circumstances where a breach has, or may have, occurred.
“It is important that every business is aware of the Australian privacy legislation and how they are affected by it,” Lorraine Madden said.
“Failing to protect against data breaches can impact your business’ reputation and bottom-line,” Andrew Sutton said.
